We went for a walk around Regents Park & the bulbs were out magnificently
And in a few weeks the roses will be be out, so we are hoping to go back their just before we leave.
Wikipedia Entry for Regents Park
I used to wonder how the flowers were always fresh and fully grown in the Parks in London, and always cleverly changed with no empty flower beds, until I discovered that the plants arrive in pots in peak condition. The tulips are a lovely show. Smell the roses for me. Walking round London was quicker and easier than waiting in queues for buses,I recall. Big storms here last Saturday with buckets of rain, but fine again now. Our W.A.ballet compnay put on "The Taming of The Shrew"- it was world standard - magical.PB
England certainly having a very relaxed effect on you both. Keep on enjoying.
